Printed Vz-Printhead for the Hevort

Printed Vz-Printhead for the Hevort

thingiverse

This is my version of the VZ printhead (printed edition) modified for use on my Hevort. You'll need to use mgn9 top rail mounted versions of the Y Axis carriages, and 12mm belts in order to use this. For the Y carriages MirageC has a version hopefully coming out very soon(It's out! see https://a360.co/3YTyTso ). I'm using ones I had previously designed myself. Only hardware differences to the VZcarriage are the 30mm aluminum spacers need to be 35mm. The printed spacers for the goliath are also a few mm shorter. If you use the opto-endstop version of the top plate you'll also need a couple extra 3mm inserts and a couple of M3x8 buttonhead screws, same deal for the bltouch version of the bottom plate. You'll need some M3 nylon screws and nuts if you use the toolboard version of the backplate to make sure nothing shorts. Fair warning I haven't been able to test this yet as I'm still waiting for my Goliath Hotend to arrive. I modeled this to work with the vz-hextrudort and goliath hotend but it hopefully will work with the same extruders and hotends as the standard Vz-version however it might need a slight modification to their respective adapter plates. I've included the goliath fan duct which leaves room for the BL-Touch but the other Vz-Printhead fan-ducts should work with the normal bottom plate. You can find a BOM by searching for "Vz-Printhead-printed" I have also uploaded the step files on GrabCAD. Thanks Vez and MirageC for the Vzbot and Hevort projects! Print settings: 5 layer walls 4 layer bottom + top (or 5) 15% infill
