Printrboard to SKR 1.3 Adapter
prusaprinters

A simple adapter plate to mount an SKR 1.3 in place of a Printrboard. There are 2 versions. The "standard" has space to fit M3 threaded inserts to hold down the board. However, this probably isn't strictly needed, so if you don't have those you can print the "no inserts" version, and form threads in the plastic with bolts.

These are the inserts I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IYWTCWW/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o00\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This was designed to fit comfortably inside the bottom of a Printrbot Simple Metal, but should work with other models. Be advised that if you want to use the SKR 1.3, you will need to either enlarge or cut a new hole for the USB connector, as the full size type-B on tje SKR is much bigger than the standard micro-B the Printrboard had.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Printrbot

Printer:

Simple Black

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

10

Filament:
Inland ABS Black

Notes:

What you print it out of isn't super important, but if you intend to put your machine in an enclosed chamber where it will heat up, something with a higher usable temperature is better.

Category: 3D Printer Parts
