An essential cable chain bottom link is attached to the Printrbot's left Z motor mount for the basic plastic version with enhanced stepper bases/mounts. I have crafted multiple alternatives, all available in the SU file. Due to conflicts with my custom framing, I had to loop the chain to its side. Despite being currently in use, I now believe an open (unenclosed) system might be more suitable (printing at present). The design is based on RotoScan's model from Thingiverse and requires two longer screws into the stepper for attachment. It is positioned at the front left. If you lack my stepper mounts, securing it to the stepper is possible, but I recommend the more stable bases found here - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:28557. My chain is intended for the Z-stage rather than the extruder; if you prefer the latter, explore the different part set in the SU file. Noteworthy, my chain features reversed bottom links compared to others.
