This weekend, I purchased stainless steel threaded rods and nuts from Home Depot to upgrade my bent z-axis rod on my 3D printer. Inspired by a Printrbot LC design, I crafted a similar part for my machine. However, upon testing, I found that the nut was too large to replace the old one perfectly. To fix this issue, I need to create a mount for it on the Y-arm. Currently, I'm waiting for silicone to cure before completing the project and sharing pictures of the finished product.
