This mounting bracket is designed to be used with a 12V LED sold under the name "Pilot Automotive IL-578W" easily found at your local auto parts store. I desgned the mount to hang of the bottom of a 40mm extruder fan, it takes the place of the two plactic nuts I was using to hold my extruder fan. Instructions: Use some small cutters to cut the cone shaped metal parts away from the LED board. Take a soldering iron and remove any left over bits of the metal parts on the solder tabs. Solder small wire to one tab on each side, either polarity will work. When soldering on your wires remember that its a tight fit in the mount, make very small solders.
