Spool bracket for Printrbot Metal Plus. Hole is sized to fit 3/4" PVC pipe. It mounts onto 2 of the 4 Z axis screws at the top of the frame. This makes it very solid and doesn't affect the Z-axis guide. It is way over-engineered. Use 2-3 walls and print with a 10-20% fill and it should work fine. I printed a set (pictures attached). took ~2.5hrs per side. Cura and Repetier both have mirror functions to print the left bracket. I will eventually update this to maintain rigidity with less material. Please comment and request. I'm pretty flexible and if you got a neat idea, I'll whip up a prototype :) Instructions Print this spool-hole side down. Rigidity is designed around this orientation. Print with 2-3 walls, and use a 10-20% infill. Even with small infill, the result is crazy rigid. Expect a 2-3hr print depending on slice settings for each side. So ~6hr total print. For printing the lefthand bracket, use 'mirror' on Repetier/cura. One more thing: do not scale. Mounting holes are designed to fit the Z-axis guide blocks.
