Printrbot Play Filament Spool Spacer

Printrbot Play Filament Spool Spacer

This spacer goes around the metal spool holder on the Printrbot Play, and makes it easier for a filament spool to spin/turn on the printer. I found that my Printrbot Play had difficulty working with filaments from HH3DPlastics and 3DXTech until I tested those on an external spool holder. I created this one to allow me to use the build in spool holder, and it has worked fine since. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Tested to Print on a Printrbot Play, sliced in Cura, with raft enabled and heated bed set to 70 degrees, with a hotend at 220 degrees. Post-Printing Step 1 Remove the spacer from the print bed, and remove the raft it you used one. Step 2 Slide it onto the Printrbot Play filament holder, and then slide your filament spool around it. Step 3 ??? Step 4 PROFIT! How I Designed This This was designed in Autodesk 123D Design, over three or four iterations. After getting it big enough to finally fit, I added some embellishment by making the ends of the spacer a little bigger and then rounding it there.
