Printrbot Play Toggle Switch for LED strips or other mods.

This is a small box meant to contain a toggle switch that fits into the hole on the side of a Printrbot Play where the micro sd card goes (blocking it off so if you don't tether than this won't work so well for you). It's a friction fit and you may have to sand the print to get it to fit for you. I'm using it to house a toggle switch for some white LED's I have installed to light up my prints for better visibility, and better time lapse footage, now with the option of being on or off. The Toggle Switch I used is a 3M Branded Metal Toggle Switch 03894NA LED's are from a local shop called Unicorn Electronics but any led strip would do, just use the appropriate voltage for the LED's you have, mine are tied into an ATX power supply that also powers my printer and its heated bed, using 12 volts, so I tied them into a sacrificial molex connector that had came with a graphics card. This way I can completely unplug them with ease if needed. WARNING!!!! I'm not responsible if any damage is caused by your installation, this is purely educational. If you do the same, yellow is 12V, Black is ground, solder or crimp connect the black wire to the ( - ) yellow to one side of your switch, and then use some more cable to attach the other side of the switch to the ( + ) on your LED Strip. Make sure you insulate all the connections with heat shrink, electrical tape, or something of the nature Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Notes: I printed mine solid, you can print it however you want, but 3 perimeters and a 0.8 top/bottom will definitely print this thing solid. Post-Printing Remove Support, sand or file Sand or file to get the fitment just right if needed, just a little at a time though, unless you plan to glue this on. How I Designed This Fusion 360
