To assemble the guide, you will require two M8 screws and two 608 bearings. The design allows the guide to sit loosely on the axle, enabling it to move as needed. This setup necessitates positioning the filament below the guide to prevent it from coming loose. For reference, please see the image of my configuration in the Gallery. In the past, I have utilized two filament guides, one of which was fully printed and ultimately succumbed to damage caused by rougher filaments. The second guide featured a single bearing that produced noticeable noise when the filament transitioned between sides. An Open Scad file is attached, allowing you to adjust the bottom hole for a tighter fit if desired.
