This is a foot that pushes into a 1/4" hole. It was designed for the Printrbot Play. This raises the printer about a quarter inch higher for improved cooling for the Control board and the steppers underneath. The stock feet leave about a 1/16" gap between the printer and the surface it sits on. They are printed out of TPU95A so should give some vibration dampening as well. The Metal Plus also uses these feet but it has a metal cover over the bottom. The Simple Metal does not use feet. The Simple Pro also appears to use these style of feet, but again it is enclosed so will not improve cooling.
