A minor component enables Printrbot+ to be turned 90 degrees for simpler access to its electronics. TinkerCad designs illustrate attachment on a 12mm smooth rod, moving the extruder carriage rightward and rotating the printer. Exercise caution as it could still topple over. This modification facilitates fan wiring, connection checks, motor pot adjustments, etc. Additionally, printing with no top or bottom layers and honeycomb infill creates a visually appealing part. An update from 11th Feb 2014 includes a file for longer feet, allowing rotation along the X-axis.
