I loved Spiernik's original design (found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:652031) so much because of the way it brings out the movement from the extruder stepper motor, that I had to remix it and add some flourishes. I made it more prominent and changed the spoke design to something a little more decorative and less organic. Finally, I increased the length of the shaft to allow more clearance for the locking extruder handle I use (found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:651391) I also included the .blend file in case others might want to remix this. Instructions model created in blender 2.74 Printed on Printrbot Simple Metal (silver) in Printrbot Orange Peel PLA with 10% infill at 205 degrees Celsius hot end temp/60 degrees Celsius bed temp, 50mm/s. No supports needed.
