LED ring for 1403 Printrbot Simple Metal. I searched high and low for an LED ring or adapter specifically for the Printrbot (Ubis) hot-end without any luck? So, here is my example of one. Instructions This print works reasonably ok but could be better with some fine tuning. It can be attached with a few small drillings and screwed to the chassis, or like i did, you can just glue it on with hot glue, as there is not much weight in it. I will post a couple of pic's to show how I set it up in case it helps others do the same? I hope you find this useful & feel free to make and post any changes you think will improve it. Note: The Hot-End will need to be removed and re-fitted last to install this LED ring. It will run off the fan circuit fine or can be wired individually. If running on the fan circuit please consider maximum current draw from your board. I was in a bit of a hurry to get the lights on mine so kind of rushed it, but I believe this design could ideally have the addition of a clip or similar to the leading edge of the ring, then remove un-needed mount tabs and you could then simply push it over the front edge of the chassis to keep it in place..
