Printrbot Simple Metal Reverse Bowden (Feed Tube)
thingiverse
Reversing bowden setups proves to be a game-changer in relieving tension on the extruder caused by the filament, as it maintains a constant length of filament between the spool and extruder. Originally designed for printing with PETG, this setup can work effectively with any strong and moderately flexible plastic. To optimize the aluminum spool rack, I bent its flaps closer to 90 degrees to ensure they are aligned with the top of the rack. Edit (12/20/2016): I've updated the extruder piece for a better fit, the angled filament piece to provide a more natural path for the filament, and the bar to make feeding easier by adding a filleted guide for the filament. I'm highly satisfied with this design, but feel free to comment on any issues or suggestions you may have. I'll be happy to update the files accordingly.
