I encountered an issue where my Prusa i3's sled was slightly warped and the standard z probe holder was positioned too far away from my nozzle, resulting in continuous crashes into the bed. To rectify this problem, I designed a custom solution to bring the z probe holder closer to the nozzle. To implement it effectively, you'll need to replace the original screws with longer ones as they are insufficient. Additionally, you should modify your x endstop mount; consult the accompanying picture for a suitable example. Please note that this modification is only compatible with 4mm sensors; 8mm sensors are too large for this setup.
