The design was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/3ibvzyzoJEA The above CAD is part of research conducted by team "Mporo" in Doukas School, 2014. It was submitted as part of the project in the E-clic Project Competition 2014. The main subject regarded alternative ways of producing hydroelectric energy. In this stage an innovative design for a way to produce Hydrogen from seawater is portrayed. And, well-known as it is, hydrogen is a clean energy fuel. For more info please visit our website: www.jimmydarras4.wix.com/eclicdoukas Instructions The production is comprised of two units: Electrolysis device (the red box mainly) PEM Hydrogen-fueled fuel cell The electrolysis device is made up of a cubic electrically-insulated box where the seawater is gathered after flowing through the red tube. The immersed electrodes can be seen on top of the box, whereas after the sequence, the produced hydrogen is exported through the large purplish pipe. There is also a smaller individual space (purple) and an orange pipe attached to it, where the only byproduct of the reaction is storaged. Then, the PEM Hydrogen-powered fuel cell is quite a complex device. With clean hydrogen being imported through the holes on top of the device, the two outer grey and yellow plates are useful as they maintain temperatures and oxygen levels in an acceptable level during combustion. This reaction happens, however, between the middle brown and these plates, with the right materials and conditions. The red cable transfers the produced electricity.
