Project box for rotary LCD interface
thingiverse
This is a customizable 3D printed project enclosure for an I2C user interface module, specifically the BV4212 (http://www.pichips.co.uk/index.php/BV4212), which serves as a frontend to popular microcontrollers such as Arduino and RPi. The display is a high-resolution 128x64 LCD with backlight capabilities, while input is facilitated by an intuitive rotary controller that also features a push switch. Additionally, a separate button provides another means of user interaction. The box's design allows for easy assembly without the need for screws, resulting in a snug and secure fit. The holes are intentionally designed to accommodate M3 x 3mm screws, although they may be slightly oversized in the current iteration. To facilitate customization and improvement, I have included the 123D files for this project. Feel free to modify them as needed, as I am not an expert in this field and welcome any contributions or suggestions.
