Prong Setting for Faceted Gems

This is a teaching tool for those who are beginning to set faceted stones. SCAD was written from scratch for demonstration purposes. Prong settings were printed out of "gold" PLA. 2 shells 8% infill Resin was printed solid. Dried, UV cured and then lightly coated with resin. This process allows the surface to maintain more clarity if the platen on the printer has a coarse texture.
