Propane Cylinder Valve Handle and Cap

Propane Cylinder Valve Handle and Cap

One of the first things I designed was a handle-adaptor for a propane cylinder. The guys where i get my cylinders filled always close the valve so tight that I cannot loosen it with my arthritic hands. This new handle just fits over the existing handle and allows for a more ergonomic grip which lets me open the valve. The cap was mostly just for the challenge of creating something in Fusion 360 which I have just started learning to use. The handle, designed in 123d Design prints well and fits the valve handle fine though not perfect. The cap, on the other hand, works but there is some anomaly that leaves some stringing that has to be trimmed and it screws on the valve threads a little tight. I’m okay with it because it works satisfactorily, but wanted to give you a heads-up so you wouldn’t think it was something wrong with your printer. Both the cap and the handle were run through Microsoft’s Model Repair Service so I’ve done the best I can with my limited knowledge.
