Prosthetic Foot for Young Children

thingiverse

These feet were designed and shock-tested for use by a 6-year-old, high-activity, K4 prosthetic foot user by students at the University of Maryland - College Park. Designs are reversible for use on either side of the body. Designs were modeled around the WillowWood Pediatric Titanium Foot Pyramid. "Mark III" (printed with 45% infill) is paired with a shock absorber that should be printed in a flexible material (CheetahFlex, 17% infill, used in testing). "Sandal" and "Shoelace" should be printed with 50% infill. "4-7" has not been fully impact-tested, but estimated print infill is 40-50%. https://youtu.be/SRtvT1ZW094 Designs by: Shelli Bond, Brendon Bondoc, Cherie Landa, Dylan Taira
