Prosthetic Hook Hand

Prosthetic Hook Hand

thingiverse

This is a prosthetic device which was designed by a team of engineering students at Liberty Common High School as a part of the bio-engineering class. It was loosely based off of the design of some metal prosthetic hooks, and it uses the bracer part from the ody prosthetic hand. All other aspects of it are our original design. We believe that this type of prosthetic is more practical and useful than a hand-shaped prosthetic, since it is more nimble and able to pick up very small objects. Neverthless, it is a work in progress that our team will probably never fully finish. Hopefully this serves as an inspiration for people with no hands around the world. In other words, it's pretty dope.
