Prosthetic Terminal DeviceVoluntary closing device- 3 printable parts- Spring material, ABSThe device is a general purpose device for grabbing every day objects. There are 3 printable parts in the device, the upper and lower fingers and the spring. The other parts like pins, washers, axles etc. are stainless steel. The device is closed by pulling the wire attached to the lever connected to the lower finger. Resistance when closing the device is achieved by the spring between the upper and lower finger printed in ABS. I have focused on a cool design with nice lines and at the same time trying not to make it look to "mechanical" without losing the main function.This is my first design for 3D printing and I think I would have to iterate on the design more to make it better both in a production point of view and function, but as alway there is not enough time.
