Protoparadigm has some great filament and their spools have a nice wide inner diameter, but one side of the spool hub is recessed. If you have a filament holder that expects the hub to be as wide as the spool, this could be a problem. My spool holder is mounted to the extrusion of the printer, so depending on which way the filament is wound on the spool it could cram up onto the extrusion. This thing is a simple hub extension that makes the spool hub the same width as the whole spool. It is reusable from spool to spool so print one and use it again and again!
