ProVolver VR gun to ProTube mounting system

ProVolver VR gun mount - prototype left & right handed versions These part are intended to mount a ProVolver VR gun / pistol to a ProTube VR gun stock. Parts you will need: Two magnets - these are fairly standard 20mm x 7 mm Pot Magnets which can be found here - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08K39Q1DL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 M6 x 30mm stainless bolt M6 nylock nut M4 x 10mm countersunk hex bolt M4 square nut Note that the Pot magnets all appear to pull in one direction (either North or South from the perspective of the countersink) the point being you will need to remove one of the internal neodymium magnet from their Pot (case / housing) and flip it over / reverse it so that the two magnets will attract when facing each other. The magnets can be easily removed with a centre punch. However to accommodate the countersunk bolt (that holds magnet in place) you could try to countersink the magnet with a drill. This is not so easy, or you could simply glue the reversed magnet into the pot and the pot to the body of the part. Alternatively you could order some North and South pull magnets which are pre-drilled. I have ordered some and will update on how that goes. This is more expensive approach and the magnets of the right size and pull are harder to find. I will likely add a spacer to the parts so that smaller magnets can be fitted into the pot - 15mm x 2mm seems to be a size that is available however the standard pot magnet size is 15mm x 3mm so a 1mm spacer disc should enable a wider choice of available magnets to be fitted. Of course should you have any old ProTube cup mount you could remove the magnets and re-use them for this project. Also note that the front mount is designed to be 10mm lower than the standard ProVolver equivalent part. This is because I find a lower front controller height preferable to the standard. Once fitted (and after a little fettling of the ProTube) the mount can be made to slide in and out fairly easily whilst at the same time providing vertical strength. The ProVolver can be quickly mounted and unmounted whilst feeling solid when in position. The parts looks better when printed in the same colour as the gun but the version shown was an earlier version.
