This is an Anet a8 extruder nozzle fan mod for standard size 80x80 PC fan. There are tons of adapters like this, but none fits Anet a8 printer, so I have decided to make one. I have made it modular, so You can easily connect additional accessories to it It is compatible with factory nozzle cooling ducts (the duct hole mount is the same size and position). All original mounting screws should fit as well. 1 - remove Your existing nozzle duct 2 - unscrew existing nozzle fan 3 - mount Your new bigger fan to this adapter 4 - mount adapter in place of old fan (the fan screws should fit) 5 - mount your old nozzle duct 6 - connect fan cable Have fun! This project is in testing phase now..Please comment your problems, print settings,pictures and feature requests. UPDATE AFTER FIRST PRINT: Everything seems to be ok except one mounting screw position. It is in wrong place. Has to take bad mesurment ;P. I will drill the hole in mounting metal thing, becouse i do not want to print it again. But when I finish my upgrade I will upload corrected project. You can print it as is and drill a hole by yopurself, everything else is ok. I have printed it with: ABS with 0,1 layer, 5mm brim and support enabled. Cooler mount laying on the bed.
