When I updated my MK2S to version 2.5, I began having intermittant power supply issues. When the printer was cold, choosing Preheat from the menu would cause the printer to restart. If I started the bed heating, waited a few seconds, then started the hot end heat, it would work OK. The initial startup surge was too much for the power supply. I suspect the new heated bed was drawing slightly more current than the original, thus causing a problem with a marginal PS. I figured I'd replace the power supply at some point. When I installed the Bear upgrade (full), I used the original and just dealt with the problem. I decided to replace the supply with a more powerful, better quality supply. I chose the Meanwell NES-350-12. This is larger than the original so it needed a new box. I had earlier altered the original Prusa box to allow for a 2 port USB adapter and wanted to have at least this in the new box. When designing this, I made it taller than needed for just the supply in order to leave room for additional power adapters, power meters etc. as desired. The mounting holes on the PS to hold it to the printer were offset by 1mm from the original so I remixed the Bear mounts. This is probably not strictly needed as the 1mm difference would still not interfere with the bed. I have supplied two versions of the box, one plain and one with a cutout for a USB adapter from http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073NCMTQL/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I also designed it to use a new switch/power outlet facing to the rear. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FREPXKA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (You may need to copy/paste these links to a browser. For hardware, the original screws that hold the mounts to the PS work fine. 2 More of these (4mm x 8mm socket button head) are needed for the end of the box to PS. Also needed are two 4mm x 8mm socket flat head screws for the side of the box. The original wiring was sufficient. If you'll be installing a USB or other adapter, you'll also need wire and connectors.
