Prusa i2 Adjustable Foot

Prusa i2 Adjustable Foot

thingiverse

This thing is an add-on adjustable foot for Prusa i2 variants. It is designed to be mounted inside or outside (easier to add plus makes for a wider foot). I remixed Tonokip's thing (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1780) to make the vertex. Instructions The .stl file has a mirrored set of feet. Print (2) of these. I used 40% infill with 3 shells but I am certain it will hold up fine with a lower infill and 2 shells (plus it will print faster). I used left over Ikea feet for the adjusters. You can use any bolt you want but it must be 8mm or 5/16". The nut trap is intentionally large to accommodate a larger square nut. If you use hex nuts with a small radius, use a piece of filament glued to one side to fix the nut (see photo - I did this to the one in the photo because I ran out of square nuts). If you want to print pads, see my thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:232984 to get the pads. Enjoy!
