# Lead Screw upgrade for X axis Compatible with all printers that follow the Anet or Prusa specification for the Z Rods spacing.(17mm or 22mm in between the linear rod and lead screw see images bellow for information)   We also provide a generic Brass nut adaptor for the X carriage where the belt used to mount --- # REQUIREMENT: 1.KFL08 and 688Z bearings + locking collar! 2.Brass inserts for holding the x linear rods in place 3.Nema 17 Damper (can be replaced with a 5-6mm spacer) --- # Why my models: There are other solutions that try to accomplish the same propose but after some analysis i come the conclusion there are some problems to be fixed. The major problem and goal accomplish was bring the center of mass of the assembly closer to the Z axis rods in order to reduce tension force (caused the distance of the motor form the axis) that have negative effects like higher than normal Z motors stress, premature lead screw nuts wear or failing and premature linear bearings wear or failing, thus also achieving a very compact design. --- # Versions: V1.
