There's an updated version of this - Check it out on my page After browsing the internet for a good titan mount that could easily be swapped out for other print heads I decided the best way to find what I wanted was to make it my self. The design I ended with is extremely compact with the extruder being practically on the X bearings to help reduce any x wobble I may have. As far as I know I am the first one to place the extruder against the carriage. Also, because it is designed to be easily removed you can make different print heads for different applications. (an example of this would be a micro cnc head that I am working on designing) And yes, it has a mount for a BL Touch (or 3d Touch) checkout the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2HbLHM7ShY Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 or better Infill: 50% or more Notes: Best to use PETG. Also, MK3 V4 is the best mount (you need square m4 nuts for mounting) or you can use the MK3 V3 which has threads in the plastic and a BL Touch mount. The i3_Carriage_Mount.dae is just the mounting plate for anyone who wants to make other removable print heads. Post-Printing Use a soldering iron to enlarge the screw holes so they are just large enough to let the bolts be screwed in.
