<p>I printed up the original version of this fan adapter by Area51 twice, thinking I had messed something up in my settings. It turns out the fan screws were carved out at M2.5 rather than M3. So I modified the step file, carved out the fan screws at M3, and added in threading in Fusion 360 to make my fan screws catch.</p> <p>When wiring the new fan to the old adapter, I also suggest using the Noctua extension cable that comes with the fan. This allowed me to unplug and adjust the fan wire as needed, making it extremely easy to troubleshoot.</p> Category: 3D Printer Extruders
