The Prusa i3 MK2 - Y-Frame Assembly Helper by MartinMajewski is great, but what do you do if your current printer is not big enough to print it? I cut it in to four pieces and added flanges with holes to suit M3 machine screws to allow the pieces to be joined back together. Each piece will comfortably fit on the bed of a Monoprice MP Select Mini (120mm square). You will need: Print two of piece A Print two of piece B Four M3 x 8 hex head machine screws Four M3 x 4mm threaded inserts Print the pieces out and screw them together in the obvious way. In addition to chopping it in to four I also removed 1mm from the height of the parts that clip on the rods, to enable them to be more easily unclipped after the helper has done its job and the Y Axis is assembled. Remixes and changes welcome. The STEP file is available for download for this purpose.
