Part is designed to clear the left-hand Z-axis screw while still protecting the fan inlet. In order to install, you will need to replace the factory 18mm long M3 socket head screws with 20mm long M3 flathead screws. I also designed a similar fan cover for part cooling blower - search for "Prusa i3 Mk3 Blower Cover - Louvered". You can see both in the picture showing the part installed on the printer.
