Prusa i3 MK3S+ Extruder Inlet Dust Cover

<p>This cover is supposed to block out any dust or particles that are trying to enter the extruder of your i3 MK3s+ printer during the times when there is no filament loaded.</p><p>I always take my filament of the machine when I am not printing anything, to properly store the filament so that it doesn't attract moisture unnecessarily. As I was afraid that things like dust would then fall into the extruder while there is no filament in there I used to just cover it with electrical tape. This isn't really an elegant solution and as I already have a machine to produce parts that I need I decided to do exactly that and to print a solution.</p><p>Before creating my own version I searched the Prusa website for any other designs, but there weren't any that satisfied me enough to try them out. The design I made is really only covering the inlet itself, and therefore does not interfere with any wires or other parts of the printer and it also allows it to still move in all directions just as it can without the cover being attached. The cover has a loose enough fit so that it doesn't require any force to attach or remove it from the extruder, but is still snug enough so that it doesn't have any play.</p><p>I decided to print mine with two colors, but I also uploaded a g-code for a single-color print.</p><p>Disclaimer: I know that having that small rod sticking out into the inlet may seem like an even worse risk than having dust falling into your extruder, but I tried breaking it away from the rest of the cover and this in itself required so much more force than what you would reasonably apply to the entire extruder assembly itself without breaking anything. Therefore I don't consider it to be an actual risk.</p>
