Prusa i3 MK3S Lack Enclosure - With PSU Surround

This enclosure design is inspired by the Prusa Ikea Lack enclosure. I designed this enclosure because I wanted to have a higher enclosure to mould spool holders inside the enclosure, and I didn't want to remove the PSU, but still wanted it outside the enclosure.

This design is closely fitted around the PSU (Black Delta PSU), so the PSU vents are outside the enclosure. The printer can easily be removed for maintenance.

The enclosure has twin sliding doors on the left to allow for easy venting without having to leave the front doors open, the right side has a single sliding door.

The rear panel can be a single fixed panel, or sliding. It is your choice.

I have my enclosure mounted on a stack of 2 Lack tables (using the joiners you can find in my prints), and I have used the top of a 3rd table for the base of this stack. The enclosure requires another table for the lid, and utilises the legs of the 3rd table. for the enclosure (8 legs need to be cut shorter to get the overall inside height of 600mm.

The enclosure has space for 3 spool holders - see my other prints for files.

I will add assembly instructions later when I get time.

You will need 8G screws of various lengths to attach parts to the Lack components, and to join some of the printed parts, and there are a number of cap head screws (M3 & M4) for the hinges.

Acrylic panels can all be cut from 600 x 1200 x 3mm sheets. I can add sizes later. or you can measure after printing. Acrylic panels are intended to fill the frames around the PSU
