**UPDATE 8/05/2019 ** I have added version 2 which gives the volcano the extra clearance needed between the fan shroud and the heater block. It now allows you to fit a sock onto the block with enough clearance to not melt the fan shroud. However, the new extruder cover design requires the cover to be printed with supports and potentially not look as smooth and nice but it is functional. The fan shroud has also been extended further forward for better cooling and to accommodate for the extra distance in between the fan and the nozzle. ***** Extruder modification that allows the MK3S to use the Volcano Hotend. The print fan has been lowered 8.5mm to accomodate for the extra length of the volcano hotend. Apart from the lowering of the print fan the rest of the extruder design remains the same as the original release from Prusa Research. Assemble as normal.
