PRUSA i3 Plate Adjust & Support Brace - Self Aligning

UPDATE 13-MAY-2016: added Lower brace support with 10mm hole, for using on PRUSA machines with M10 threaded rods. Use M8 threaded rods for the brace supports. Also revised the upper support, it now is stronger under the hex adjuster, and has a larger hex size ... should allow more adjust-ability without risk of breakage. Adjust perpendicularity of PRUSA i3 Aluminum plate to your print bed, and brace the plate too!!! Provided there is a self-aligning & self assembled joint system for supporting & adjusting your PRUSA i3 plate ... improves print quality by preventing flexing of the unsupported plate, and let's you adjust perpendicularity of the plate (not even possible in original PRUSA design!). This is a major design flaw in the i3 Aluminum Plate design, the plate bends and moves even at low printing accelerations ... and there is NO way to adjust perpendicularity of the Aluminum plate to the print bed! Solutions for this design deficiency are difficult because of the variations in angles from one i3 build to another due to variable positioning of M10 threaded rods in Y direction under print bed. NOW, there is a FIX for your i3 Aluminum Plate printer ... a one size fits all solution, that provides plate support bracing and a perpendicularity adjustment feature! Give it a try, good luck! Original released files here are for machines using M8 threaded rods, some rework models use M10 (working on STL files for M10 now, be patient). Build Tip - M8 threads are in these models, but will only print crudely, if the treads don't function well ... heat an M8 screw, turn it into your printed part, let it cool down .. perfect threads! (don't over heat the screw and destroy your part) .. or simply tap the threads with a tapping tool. (the top adjustor will be difficult to turn if there is too much friction on the M8 threads) These STL files are designed to be printed without support material. Some force may be required to free up the "ball and socket" feature after printing these parts, make sure your extruder flow rate is optimal, as over extruding will create a part where the ball and socket feature will not be movable after printing!
