<h3><strong>Prusa i3 plotter upgrade v2</strong></h3><p>New design of prusa i3 pen holder for printing in 2D. it should work for both i3 mk3 and mk2. Unlike with the previous version, you can now use wider markers (from 8mm to 12mm in diameter). Now you can use almost every pen or marker without any quality defects on your drawings, and with the same quality for drawings with thinner pens. It weights something under 5 grams, so it won't make your hotend wobly.</p><h5>Mounting to the printer</h5><p>the pen mount can be mounted to the hotend using the original fan screws, they are long enough to hold the fan and the pen mount at once. The rubber bands have to be added before the instalation to the hotend. The rubber bands have to be tightened well to flex the pen and hold it in place.</p><h5><strong>Slicing pictures for drawing</strong></h5><p>To “slice” your picture, use tips from video below (it includes inkscape with extensions). If you don't like this, then you can search for more slicing types, such as cura image slicing. Unfortunately, I can't include any of my drawing gcodes here, because they aren't generated in prusaslicer, so they aren't supported by this web page.
