It is now fixed. The whole reason for this is I bought a wood prusa i3 pro b style from ebay. It has terrible flex in the center as well as the front and rear. Im trying to make my printer bullet proof. The y axis would shift back and fourth the center brace stopped that. The original motor mounts were weak. Pep cowboy added some the were a bit short and i found if you tip the printer on its side to get a wire or something the mount would snap. So a made them taller added a support between the sides. I had these crappy clamps that stripped out for holding the smooth rod from moving. So i added clamps to the smooth rods to eliminate these. This is a mashup of 2 designs I added material to connect the 2 pieces together. I am planning to make it so they will be able to connect completely together. I was thinking extend the back one one and the front on the other in the middle then drill a few wholes in the wood parts and bolt it all together.
