I couldn't find an X-Carriage mount for the laser I bought. It is a 450nm 5.5 Watt, and is 40mm square with a blue heatsink. I designed this part in Fusion360 to fit my Prusa I3 rework X-Carriage that has 23mm square hole spacing. Rotate the STL such that the M3 bolt countersinks are facing the bed. I will fix this in a future upload. I didn't use supports, but you may try them for the M3 countersunk holes if needed. I used Cura and set my horizontal expansion to -0.2mm. Use M4 nuts and M4 bolts from the existing I3 rework X-Carriage. Use M3x12 bolts to attach the laser. There are 7 bolt holes available, but I don't think all are required. I have mounted the laser and it seems to be solid, but I have not tested it since I do not have my Protective eye glasses yet. Please do not use a laser without eye protection! Update: I have not made any changes to this part, I was able to use it as-is to laser etch a few dog tags and it was good enough.
