I decided to finally release this after I made sure everything was working and I can say it is working beautifully after over a month. My original design (still on my machine too) was redone in many places where I saw it needed help in. . First spot was to make it beefier as I had to add support on the original version via a cross beam and the use of some JB Weld on the top due to flex and you DO NOT want any flex with this. Some just can't be helped due to the I3 Rework's X carriage setup and V1 of this flexed whereas V2 does not flex (at least with my ABS) in any measurable amount. With the addition of the new ribs structure the flex vanished (yay, no more need for a cross beam and JB Weld). .11/06/2014 - I have added a version that is easier to slice if using Slic3r as I found a section in the model was too thin after people who use Slic3r was having issues. Simplify3d did not have this issue but it sure has other issues as I have now dropped using it due to them...save your money. Instructions Use supports similar to the ones I have pictured for the servo mount. 3 Vertical shells and 6 Top and Bottom Horizontal shells 50% infill. . Attach this via the two original 3mm by 30mm hot end screws (looking front to back this goes on the left hand side of the hot end assembly under the original big gear). Use a standard 9g servo motor (goes on the outside of the motor mount) with the proper arm and use the proper switch. . Here is where I purchased my items (you can purchase wherever this is just to show you the items needed for exact sizing): http://tinyurl.com/lnf5npa and http://goo.gl/LwO2G9 . The small switch uses 2mm by 12mm hex cap screws. . The slim neck part of the arm has a function besides aesthetics as I take the two soldered switch wires and route them there and zip tied them up and once zip tied there it will not budge due to that being the slimmest section.
