I am building a Prusa i3 based on the reworked 1.5 version of by eMotion-Tech, published Jun 1, 2015 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:858449) The printed parts I made using a cube3Dpro at work. As I want to use a MK8 drive gear and a E3D v6 hot end and they don't fit the eMotion-Tech design, I did some small adjustments ( in a first step cut by hand) to be able to start using the extruder and then print the adapted design at time I finish the printer. Adaptations are a bit 'dirty' but they show how to make the body extruder part usable for the MK8 and a E3D v6 hot end. Update 21/12 The adapted design is available for download I have just changed over to a PETG piece. (printed on my new Prusa i3 rew 1.5) Much more stiff and no warpage / shrinkage compared to the ABS part ! I am now working on an optical proximity sensor instead of the capacitive one Much smaller and no issue with not metalic surfaces
