Just finished building my new Prusa I3 model, heavily inspired by the groundbreaking Prusa i3 Rework design. However, none of the existing endstop solutions resonated with me - their form factor didn't fit perfectly with my vision, or simply appeared unattractive. Both of these solutions merely rest on the 8mm smooth rods, fitting snugly but lacking any substantial locking mechanism. As a result, I intend to modify the z-endstop system for better anchorage or micro-adjustment options in the future. Nonetheless, this setup functions effectively enough to meet my current needs.
