UPDATE: To solve most problems with the y axis seehttp://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1999279 => See also my other Prusa i3 reworks in my Collection Brackets for supporting the arms of the y-carriage of an Prusa i3 printer. This will help to reduce wiggling of the y-carriage, with improves printing quality and eases print bed leveling. Installation might be a bit fiddly, but you don't need to disassemble anything. Print two copies, one mirrored. Insert a cable tie from the top half way through the hole. Insert the bracket with the cable tie from the side between the rod and the y-frame. Use a needle-nose plie for tightening the cable tie and a utility knife for cutting. See pictures for more details. The brackets will fit at the side with the single linear bearing. On the side with two bearings is no additional support needed. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 25% Notes: You need one left hand and one right hand one. Just mirror the STL file in your slicer. Print both in on turn. This will give each one the time to cool down between the layers. Post-Printing
