Designed on / for my Folger Tech Prusa i3. I found the mount that came with the kit kept sliding - or would break if I tighetened it too much. Also a side view video is at http://youtu.be/dZHDUUFaER8 This design mounts to the Z stepper through the acrylic with some extra screws I had left after the kit was assembled. I just replaced the short ones that screwed into the motors with longer ones to hold it in place. Changes were made to keep the guides from flopping around. I think this setup is where I will leave it, as it is working well. The square guides keep the adjustable piece in the base, while the upside-down screw allows for fine tuning of the height of the end stop. While they aren't necessarily required, slots were designed in to hold nuts, but the screws were a perfect fit that they didn't need it. The cutout in the adjustable mount is space for the solders that stick through on the back of the end-stop. Use care when handling the guide part. I have broken the guides a few times (superglue works wonders). OpenSCAD files are included if you so choose to play. Instructions Take a look at all the pictures, and maximize them, as they are cut off when in web page view. The holes are setup so that any screw with a shaft diameter around 3mm (same as those that came in my Folger Tech kit) will work. I did use a 4-40x3/4 screw for adjusting the height of the end stop, as I was out of spares from my kit, and that was the smallest metric Home Depot seems to carry without being a special order. Slide the mounting screws down the square guide shafts (it's a tight fit) and use a small screwdriver to screw them in (see the pic). I suggest pre-threading the height adjustment screw before mounting the part to the printer. The holes for mounting are slightly off centre, and should be put closer to the printer (facing in). This was done so the plastic wouldn't interfere with the Z drive. While I have 1 picture showing the End-Stop facing out, I don't believe it will make contact there. Ensure it is facing in. The OpenSCAD is included, feel free to adjust and improve.
