The original Prusa + Lack enclosure has a filament tube. This thing prints a 16cm slot instead of a tube. Why? I raised my MK3S about 1.5" off the bottom of the enclosure for a counter weight, which reduced the room at the top of the Z axis for the filament to flex into the extruder. That is an issue when printing towards to ends of the Z and X axis limits. Hence a slot.
