Buddy Board Case Cover RC1.5 - 21 Februari 2021
More snug fit and re-aligned the screw hole.
Buddy Board Casing RC1.5 - 21 Februari 2021
Uploaded the buddy for Prusa MINI Clones and the Original MINI Hardware. If you build a clone with hardware from aliexpress print the file: buddy-board-case_rc-1.5-for-clone-hardware.stl And if you replacing or building a Prusa MINI with Prusa's Original Hardware print: buddy-board-case_rc-1.5_for-original-mini-hardware.stl
Stands RC1.5 - 16 Februari 2021
Updated the big stand for the Prusa MINI, added a slot for the Y motor cable si it doesn't need to run from the outside.
Stands RC1.0 - 26 Januari 2021
Updated the stands so you do not need support anymore, it was an initial design to use thiccccccc rubber pads as inserts. now you can the stands/feet print without support or if you want the texture of the powder-coated pei sheet you can print it on its side without support.
Release Candidate 1.5 - 15 January 2021
Updated some sections to the model so it's stronger when you screw the casing on the extrusion profiles. The 2 screw holes will now print solid. (see slicer image). Als added a hole for the Y-Motor Cable so it wont be on the back-outside. This was introduced with the latest Prusa MINI+ Release Candidate 1 I wanted to put the Prusa MINI on the stands but quickly noticed the whole Z beam will bend away from the printer (to the right if you look at the printer). So I increased the stand so it will support the buddy board case too. I also noticed the stepper drivers on the buddy board get pretty hot, ok I'm sure they tested the thermal limited BUT electronics don't like to be hot in the first place... So... During the design of the Z-Bottom Stand, I noticed there was room for those small heatsinks! so I made square holes in the buddy board casing and... now you got something cool! The bigger stand that supports the Z-Bottom has a channel for the LCD ribbon cable. Hardware Needed: 4x Heatsinks Size: 0.9×0.9×1.2cm/0.35×0.35×0.47in 5x M4x16 Hex Bolts 5x M4 T-Nuts for 3030 profiles ** 5x M4 Square Nuts / Block Square Nuts (if you don't have T-Nuts) If you do not have M4 stuff... M3 is ok too. 5x M3x16 Hex Bolts 5x M3 T-Nuts for 3030 profiles ** 5x M3 Square Nuts / Block Square Nuts (if you don't have T-Nuts) P.S. The Prusa MINI is crap anyways... 5/10 for me, but they look cool!
