Prusa Mini Buffer Mk3

Prusa Mini Buffer Mk3

The Prusa MMU buffer has never really struck me as being very practical. So I decided to design my own. This is now the third iteration of the design that I came up with. Just connect it to the end of your MMU teflon tube (using a bowden connector) and the filament just unspools into a loop. When the filament is required again it simple spools back in. No need for auto rewinding spool holders etc. This design requires 2 lengths of teflon tubing and a 608 bearing. These items are readily available. There are parts for a single colour mk3 and an MMU mk3. The MMU parts are labelled MMU. No need to for any supports. Simply print with whatever settings you feel are best.
