Ok, same thing, different use. Stevens Buffer was meant to be used with a spool holder that I don't have. I use to have everything on a pegboard. So, I modified Steves buffer (with support of him) to fit my needs. Changes to the original include M10 threads, some changes to the cassette (chamfered inlets plus size optimisation). And, MULTI MATERIAL ultra cool Prusa tattoo. The outer cassette can be printed in one go to fit the holders supplied. A skirt as an addition is needed as these can be mounted densely. By that the filament sling might get caught with its neighbours, so a skirt was needed for guidance. This is so thin that it doesn't add much to the BOM. What you need is some M3 nuts and screws, but you can figure it out. Most of them were reused out of the MMU build left overs. This buffer works!!!! I started off three weeks ago and added more and more over the two printers I have. No loading failure so far.
