Prusa Mini Enclosure

Prusa Mini Enclosure

This is everything I used to make my own enclosure for my Prusa Mini. I have been using this for over a year now and I feel like I should release the files in case someone wants to build the same thing.

This is not a simple project, it requires some drilling of holes in acrylic, cutting if you want to use the air filter or temperature/humidity gauge, and there isn't a simple parts list as to what you need to 3D print.

I've also probably forgotten to upload something, or uploaded the wrong version of something. So start this at your own risk!

As well as PETG for many parts (some you can use PLA for, as they don't need to be as strong), you will also need:

5x Clear Perspex Acrylic Sheet 500mm x 500mm

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06X99MK9L

10x M4 14mm bolts, washers and nuts (for the hinges)

4x 10mm x 3mm neodymium magnets

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JVH15TL

2m Door/Window silicone self-adhesive strips

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07BYX8QG6

For the air filter:

Xx M? bolts, washers and nuts

1x 40mm cooling fan

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07F1NV9T7

1x Ram 4-inch 170m³/hr air filter (you could also make your own or use something else)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MNJ4TO4

2-3m of 1.5in (40mm) Corrugated Black Pond Flexi-hose (or something similar, it only has to carry air)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007V20NLG

1x Glue gun to seal all the joints otherwise the smell will leak out

For the camera:

1x Raspberry Pi v2 camera module

1x Pi camera extension cable

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0869F81B4

For the lights:

1x RGBW controller

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MRHVJ52

RGBWW sticky backed lighting strips

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01D1I50UW

L and T shaped connectors

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07PQJ8C48

1x DC power supply for the controller and strips

1x Glue gun to stick the odd bit down
