The use 3 AAA batteries</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>I screwed the back plate into the part. The lip of the part is flush with the light so I have to apply downward pressure with the palm of my hand to turn and lock the light in. If you have a rubber jar opener pad that will help.
